A close view of a most beautifully illustrated pack of cards. I don’t use them for readings alone, they have a word or one word message to harmonise with the main pack reading. Lets talk more on these lovely cards later.

Where would I be without my dear friend V (I’ll only be using initials until I get the nod I can use the whole name!) Out of the generosity of her heart, V passed this book to me, which had been given to her by C (who will probably be happy for me to use her name, but I’ll be polite and check). I so love this book, it just gives more interest to the reading, for example who wouldn’t want to know ‘The Sun’ with it’s wavy and straight rays showing a masculine and feminine sensitivity. ‘The Fool’ with his yellow boots conveying an intellectual understanding. Another example, Four of Wands, with red ribbons showing a union, the grey castle representing Self, fruit for fertility. As I started by saying, so love this book. It’s a necessary good, go and get yourself a copy, NOW!!

I haven’t yet told you of my other cards or about my pendulums. I use Oracle cards and Aura Soma cards as a reinforcement of my readings. To also complement all of the cards and for a definite ‘Yes’ or ‘No’, I have two lovely pendulums: a decorative rose quartz and a clear crystal quartz. Rose is for unconditional love, which we all need for our inner selves and to surround us with. The other, my lovely clear crystal quartz, is for grounding. Please don’t worry or think that these carry too many energies from one reading to another. They are both cleansed with water, natural salt flakes, incense smoke and air. When there is a full moon or a new moon, both of these are placed outside to benefit from the moon’s glow. Please feel free to ask me anything about me or my readings, the cards, crystals. I really enjoy interaction, and hope this comes across when I’m teaching.

We all have our favourites in our life’s journey, whether it’s a holiday in a favourite country or an item of clothing we feel so comfortable with. And for me it’s my Tarot deck, Rider Waite the Radiant version with lovely bright colours. I also have Golden Rider which hasn’t been published for many years. It has the same imagery, with a variation on the colours; darker, vivid, Golden tones of course. In the Post, you’ll see I’m holding the Rider Waite Radiant, with the Golden Rider placed in front of me. I’ll be placing cards in my posts for you to choose, see which appeal to you, and then I’ll be giving an answer to each. Well, I’ll start with one and maybe just up to three…let’s see where the journey takes us!

Tarot is the story of life’s journey. We begin here with ‘0 The Fool’. From the number we’re inclined to think he is the first card. He is certainly very important, but is often placed at the end of the pack, ready to begin again.
